If I am on a legacy Pro Plan, can I downgrade?

Yes, you can downgrade from your legacy Pro Plan to a free 8th Wall account. When you cancel your Pro Plan, you will lose access to the following features:

  • Self-hosting and local development
  • The ability to use custom domains
  • Private publishing options for your projects

You will not be able to subscribe to the Pro Plan again, as we are no longer offering it.


If I downgrade my legacy Pro, Starter, or Plus plan to the new 8th Wall account, can I create new Cloud Editor projects?

Yes, all users on any account can access the Cloud Editor by clicking on “Build with Legacy Tools” from their workspace page.


What happens to my existing 8th Wall Cloud Editor projects if I downgrade to the new 8th Wall account?

You will have access to all of your Cloud Editor projects even if you downgrade.


What happens if I have an active Commercial License but I want to switch to a White Label subscription?

You will need to cancel your active Commercial License, then repurchase a White Label subscription through our Purchasing Wizard within your 8th Wall project.


How does this pricing change impact my existing live commercial projects?

These changes do not impact any existing plan or commercial licenses. If you take no action, existing plans and commercial licenses will continue to automatically renew each billing period at current rates.


Am I able to create custom domains with the new 8th Wall Account?

No. The free 8th Wall Account does not support custom domains at this time.


Can I self-host on the free 8th Wall Account?

No, you have to use 8th Wall hosting for all of your projects on the new 8th Wall Account.


If I do not purchase a White Label subscription, can I launch a commercial experience with the new 8th Wall Account?

Yes, you can launch a commercial experience without a White Label subscription, but all projects are required to have a Splash Screen with the 8th Wall logo and a “Powered by 8th Wall” logo on the loading screen.

Are there view limits on the new 8th Wall Account?

No view limits. All experiences have unlimited views.


What are the differences between my existing Pro Plan and the new 8th Wall Account?

The new 8th Wall Account does not support:

  • Custom invoicing
  • App key access for off-platform development
  • Connecting custom domains
  • Publishing projects publicly

What do I do if I need to update my billing information after I downgrade?

Can I have my billing set to invoicing for my new 8th Wall Account if I downgrade?

No, we require all payments to be made by credit card unless you have a pre-existing agreement with us.


How do I cancel my account?

To cancel your account, go to the Accounts page and click “Manage Plan”.
