Created for the Niantic 8th Wall Challenge, this WebAR experience uses VPS (Visual Positioning Service) to bring iconic landmarks in Vitoria-Gasteiz to life with enchanting animations and playful surprises.
I integrated AR elements into real-world locations by placing Wayspots on the Niantic map and activating VPS through scans submitted via the Wayfarer app. Each landmark blends seamlessly with its surroundings, offering users a delightful, immersive journey. This project highlights the creative possibilities of WebAR while showcasing the city’s historical and aesthetic treasures.
