An Age-Old Product Turned New

Morton Salt came to us with the request to “bring our salt cans to life” through AR as a way to boost both their new packaging and promote their Erase Food Waste campaign. The resulting project involves two of the most in-depth commercial WebAR experiences on the market. With more than 10 unique scenes shared between the two apps, 3D renders with a level of detail normally only found in commercial video games, and intricate animations between each scene, this final product was everything and more.

In the product packaging experience, users get to explore Morton's full range of products while receiving tips on best practices for each one.

#EraseFoodWaste

In the Erase Food Waste Experience, nine detailed character-animated vignettes encourage people to #erasefoodwaste by revealing unique recipes utilizing food they may already have on hand. Both apps showcase highly detailed scenes, each exuding a unique personality and helpful tip.
