Leveraging the power of EE’s 5G network and 8thWall's WebAR technology, fans visiting Wembley Stadium for England’s friendly games were able to explore and purchase England merchandise in a completely new and immersive way.
Guided by their personal shopper, an AR avatar of Trent Alexander-Arnold, fans were able to ‘try before they buy’. The AR technology allows visitors to view products from a range of different angles, which can be manipulated by pinching and rotating premium 3D models.
As a takeaway, fans leaving the store were able to capture a selfie with Trent at the end of the experience.
