How can AR improve product exploration? 🤳

Choosing a new device is always exciting — but with countless models, specs, and styles to compare, the process can quickly become overwhelming. And since product exploration is one of the most crucial stages of the customer journey, brands should take matters into their own hands to make it faster, easier, and more intuitive. ✅

That’s exactly where Augmented Reality changes the game. Instead of reading about a product, users can experience it “hands-on”. All it takes? A mobile device with a camera and a touchscreen. They can see how it looks, functions, and feels, right in front of them, even without stepping into a store.

We followed this idea, collaborating with Samsung Electronics and Leo Warsaw on the campaign for the brand-new Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7.

We wanted users not just to see the phones, but to connect with them, get a real sense of their design, size, and unique features before even holding them in hand. 📱

To make that possible, we built a WebAR experience powered by 8th Wall, accessible directly through a POS QR code or a simple URL — no app required. The experience invites users to explore the smartphones from every angle, blending digital convenience with the feeling of in-store discovery.

Whether online or in-store, they can rotate the phones, zoom in to examine the details, and learn about key features through a fully interactive, hyperrealistic 3D model.

For a tech-forward brand like Samsung, innovation isn’t just in the products. It’s in how they advertise them. Their approach is “show, don’t tell”: using cutting-edge storytelling to demonstrate their expertise in innovation and reinforce their leadership in the industry.

It’s product exploration that goes beyond the screen, building purchase confidence while reflecting a customer-first mindset that users value and return to.
