Transformers: Rise of the Beast Touring Statues Reveals More Than Meets The Eye

In anticipation of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Paramount deployed a larger-than-life experience where massive statues of the iconic Transformers characters were displayed at high foot-traffic events around the world. Accompanied by an immersive augmented reality Web site created by Pretty Big Monster, spectators scanned the statues to unlock exclusive posters, bonus videos, social stickers, and detailed character stats.

These incredible augmented figures embarked on a global tour, captivating audiences on six continents, including stops in Austin, Las Vegas, New York, Mexico City, São Paulo, Singapore, Beijing, Tokyo, Sydney, Madrid, Berlin, and London.

The Transformers In AR: Optimus Prime, Optimus Primal and Mirage

For those unable to see the statues in person, the second Web AR site allowed fans to bring their favorite characters into their own world. Using real-time 3D animations created from the actual film models, audiences could watch Optimus Prime, Optimus Primal, and Mirage transform right before their eyes.

By utilizing the AR site to capture and share pictures and videos of these thumb-stopping characters, audiences were entered into the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Giveaway for a chance to win an unforgettable trip for two to the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles, California.
