In 2021, Nespresso launched the «Vertuo Next» coffee system in Switzerland. The launch was promoted through a walk-in Vertuo capsule – and we enhanced it with augmented reality content: A QR code at the entrance led to a WebAR experience that brought the images inside the capsule to life. In nine different animations, visitors experienced Vertuo Next in an innovative way and learned about interesting facts.
After the AR experience, users got to a quiz where they could answer three questions about Vertuo Next and win one of 50 exclusive Nespresso prizes. The walk-in capsule was on tour in shopping centers throughout Switzerland for nine months.
