You can’t shower in a national park waterfall, but we do get the appeal. 🫧
So, we brought the adventure to you. To launch Irish Spring's national park-inspired scents at Walmart, Arc created an immersive AR experience—allowing shoppers to step right in and experience each scent. 🏞️
You can even capture your national park moment in a postcard, then head to Walmart’s brand page to add these Grand Canyon and Yosemite-inspired scents straight to your cart!
Using 8th Wall, we are running a very light weight customized object classification ML model on top of it. This classification model identifies several hundred typical objects seen in households. We then place 3D "AR" objects where those objects are detected.
What does all of this mean?
1) Every user gets a slightly unique experience and layout of the transformed environment.
2) When a user walks around the transformed room, they wont walk into a table or couch because an object from the transformed environment replaces it. This methodology also allowed us to customize what assets appear where the TV is detected or where a real world plant is detected .
