Doritos Triangle Tracker

Current Studios has partnered once again with Pepsico to bring the Triangle Tracker experience to the web. Users are encouraged to find and scan triangles in their environment to complete weekly activities for Pepsico Tasty reward entries, which are used to enter various contests and sweepstakes through their site.

For this project, Current created a machine learning model compiled of thousands of triangles at different sizes and shapes to ensure a wide variety of triangles can be detected. Once a triangle is detected, an animation plays before prompting the user to keep scanning or to redeem their entries on Pepsico Tasty Rewards. A Pepsico Tasty Rewards account is required to store and use entries.
