There’s a child inside each of us, or so the saying goes. This is the exact energy Nike channeled with the wildly playful PLAY NEW in-store experience, installed in three flagship House of Innovation stores (NYC, LA, and Chicago).

Dream Syndicate was tapped to create an interactive, playful set of webAR games embedded amongst the colorful and quirky in-store buildout.

Launched via QR code at the store entrance, kids of all ages activated and explored the PLAY NEW AR web app, beckoning them to seek out and scan the five AR triggers scattered throughout the store. Each trigger launched an AR mini-game experience, with activities ranging from putt-putt to kicking a virtual field goal. Once completed, each experience was unlocked within the web app - which charted overall progress and showed which mini-games were yet to be discovered. Once all five AR mini-games were triggered and completed, the user received a congratulatory prize from the store!

Dream Syndicate designed and developed the Nike PLAY NEW in-store AR experience specifically for webAR activation, capitalizing on the easy entry and fast conversion that webAR offers without the need to download and install a dedicated mobile app.
