To honor 50 years of Paris Saint-Germain FC, Daniel Hechter’s iconic red and blue kit design was reissued with an accompanying AR experience to celebrate his craftsmanship and unmatched Parisian style.
Our WebAR experience allowed users to place the club’s shirt anywhere in the frame and toggle between the home design and the away design. The shirt activated hotspots with information about the history of PSG, Daniel Hechter’s storied relationship with the club, and Nike’s groundbreaking VaporKnit technology. There were even a few sneaky Easter eggs for fans to find, including a delivery code for free next-day delivery.
Powered by 8th Wall, the experience was optimized to be accessed through the Nike app. Great attention was paid to the visual quality of the shirt, ensuring the mesh and the textures were perfect to make it look as close to the real thing as possible while still maintaining peak performance.
