In August, we invited creators to show us what they could make using Asset Lab, the AI-powered tool inside 8th Wall Studio. The projects highlighted the range of what’s possible with Asset Lab and showed how it can make building and prototyping faster.

Creators generated everything from jumping robots and wrist-launching rocket ships to dancing tacos, puffer fish, cavemen, and even entire zombie outbreaks. Some leaned into humor and playfulness. Others experimented with characters and environments that felt ready-made for immersive storytelling. These projects came to life not just inside Studio, but out in the world, shared across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Part of what makes Asset Lab so powerful is its ability to transform an idea into something tangible in a fraction of the time it used to take. Instead of starting with placeholder cubes, creators were able to drop in AI-generated 3D models or animated characters that matched the exact prompts they used. Many told us they completed their projects in just a few hours or a couple of days. We gave each creator a bundle of credits to generate assets. Credit use varied widely across the creators, from under a hundred for lightweight prototypes to several hundred for more ambitious builds..

What we heard from creators was that Asset Lab is both practical and creative. Creators told us that they valued the ability to move from prompt to image to 3D to animation in one workflow and easily edit the output. “I love how quickly I can make prototype assets. I also love the idea of editing assets after they are generated.”

Many appreciated having a choice of AI models, which gave them more control over the results and helped manage credit use. “I was able to quickly generate a model that matched the futuristic theme I wanted. The ability to iterate in just a few attempts made it easy to fine-tune the design without starting from scratch.” Others highlighted how Asset Lab saved hours of development time by turning ideas into working prototypes much faster. 

Across all responses, one consistent theme was creative freedom. Asset Lab made it easier to focus on experimenting, iterating, and building experiences that felt ready to share from the start.
